The 2012 1-series M will be officially making its debut at the Detroit Auto Show this January, but before it even shows its face to the world, an even hotter, faster, more track ready version is rumoured to be in the mix.
The better news is, BMW hasn’t quite killed the idea – they seem open to it, in fact. A BMW spokesperson said they are going to wait for initial reaction to the 1M before deciding whether to make a CSL version. Since you can bet your life that the public’s reaction to the 1M will be overwhelmingly positive, that means there is a good chance BMW will indeed procude a CSL or a GTS version.
