Ah, rivalry. Where would we be without it? Well, there’d certainly be no Canada vs. USA in hockey, Yankees vs. Red Sox in baseball, 50 Cent vs. Rick Ross in hip hop or Pepsi vs Coke in, uh, pop.
Rivalries make for bucket loads of entertainment for the rest of us and one of our all-time favourites has to be the BMW vs. Audi rivalry. These two German heavyweights just love to get under each others skin and love to boast of their awesomeness more than Kanye West. It’s especially entertaining as both brands have legitimate claim to the top spot.
The rivalry is especially interesting as they’ve exhausted mostly every medium including print ads, billboard ads and TV ads. This latest war continues on through the latter.
Audi recently won three comparison tests against BMW in Car and Driver tests and to make sure BMW knew it, they created the ad above.
