If you are living in South Korea and are salivating at the thought of owning your very own piece of iconic American muscle then you may need to move to another country to make your dream come true.
South Korean officials are reportedly concerned about the Corvette’s arrival on their shores because the exhaust note may prove to just be way too noisy. South Korea apparently has laws in place specific to automobile noise.
As a result, the Korean launch of the Corvette has been delayed indefinitely.
GM could likely tone down the “noise” aka the symphony of Gods, however given that only 12 Corvettes are imported on average each year, it doesn’t seem too likely.
