Since Ben Collins foolishly outed himself as the Stig, Top Gear has been in preparation mode to find a replacement before the new series begins. You can’t, after all, have a Stig whose identity is widely known. That’s just unheard of.
So Top Gear hilariously set up a “Stig farm” to help them find their new racing phenom and it appears they have made a selection.
The new Stig looks a hell of a lot like the old Stig in appearance, which is a bit of a shame considering the colourful Stigs available to choose from on the farm, but oh well.
Check out the selection process in the video above! In the mean time, if you’re lucky enough to be in Europe for Top Gear Live, new Stig will be making his/her/its first appearances there. If you’re not in one of the Top Gear Live cities, you’ll just have to wait until the new series starts.
