Polestar has been turning lots of heads lately with its ability to turn Volvos into head turning track stars. The S60 has already gotten the treatment as has the V60 wagon but now it’s the turn of the Swedish company’s SUV’s.
Polestar Performance has confirmed that they will have a crack at the popular XC60 first and will then move on to the larger, recently redesigned XC90 which is likely to take aim squarely at BMW’s X5 M and Mercedes-Benz’ ML 632 AMG.
They also said they would be working with a slate of Volvo’s new Drive-E engines combining both efficiency and performance – not a small feat to achieve.
