I was in Spain this month and reserved a VW Golf or similar. I got an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, sweet. Diesel engine, 6 forward speeds, my combined city/country driving worked out to 5.7 L/100km. Great car!

Volkswagen is loosing is indentity.
They only what to bring in the most selling model in the last teen years i manege to stay away from a Caravan with a wagon we could go out for a week end with the family and i had a good driving feeling when it was time to good to work. The perfect balance.
With the price of gaz the touareg is Not a option and i do not whant to downgrade to a Golf…..

MY first car was an Alfa Romeo Gulia Super back in 1969 and I long for another one finally in Canada.
My first car was a rocket with an Abbart exhaust it picked up another 10 to 15 HP on top of the 105HP 4 Cyl. 1.6L engine. The long stroke engine with an 11.5:1 compression and needed Super Gasoline. The spark plugs were a 4 contact “Golden Lodge”. Bosch, I think, manufactured one like it a couple of years ago.
On the Autobahn (less congested at that time) it would do 215 Km/H. THAT was in 1969!!!!

Man, I’m salivating now. LOL…
BTW. At that time I was 21 and 2 years of an 8 year stint in the German Army.

Waiting patiently to get another one before I die.

1) From what I can decipher from your extremely grammatically incorrect comment is that the Cobalt is so good that they had to stop making them? Think about that for a second. Actually, think about that for a few weeks because I have a feeling that’s how long it will take before you realize that it makes no sense.

2) A car is either a good car or an excellent car. It’s not both. Pick one.

3) The Chevrolet Cobalt is not alive, therefore it has no gender. Calling it a “him” really makes me wonder if you were of sober mind when you commented on this post

4) “It will take a long time to buy damage parts…” Why would anyone want to buy damaged parts for their vehicle? No, honestly. Explain that one to me. Generally people will buy new parts for their vehicles because it’s just common sense.

5)I’m a shit and my website is….? You kinda trailed off there.

By the way, this is a blog. Therefore it is largely based on opinion – my opinion. You are free to disagree whenever you like, but in order for us to have a real debate on the topic you need to come up with more sensible arguments delivered in a logical, comprehensible format. Name calling just brings the whole discussion down.

I’d be willing to forgive your nonsensical dribble if English is not your first language. But if it is, then you just made my point about the intelligence level of Cobalt owners.

The outside look is ok. Not the best in the category but definitely better looking than the previous version, I like the 5-door. The inside while not being spectacular is classy enough. But I agree the biggest improvement is this new engine. I look at the consumption and it’s close to my Honda Civic, very impressive for an all-wheel drive. If I had to buy a new car today this new Impreza would probably be at the top of my list.
