Nissan Debuts Juke in New York
Posted on April 1st, 2010 1 comment
The Nissan Puke Juke made its official debut at this year’s New York Auto Show and Nissan is very excited to tell us more about it. Oh…did we say excited? We meant to say indifferent. Nissan didn’t even bother holding a press conference for the Juke. Could it be because it looks like it was beaten with an ugly stick?
Who knows.
But the folks over at Autoblog apparently had the opportunity to speak to Nissan about the Juke in the hopes of getting some deets.
They found out the the Juke will get a 1.6 litre direct injection turbo four which will make somewhere around 180 horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque. Unlike some car companies, Nissan will make a manual transmission option available, but only for front drive models. AWD Jukes will get a CVT only.
Expect the Juke to be available for sale in 2011.
